Although every book is carefully checked during packing, occasionally damage occurs in transit. If this happens, please review the policy below. If your book meets the criteria, email chaoscontrol@adalinewinters.co.uk within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We will replace books with: Scratches to the dust jacket, case, or sprayed edges 2 cm or larger Tears to any part of the dust jacket Water damage (photos of wet packaging required) Creased pages or folded interiors Dented corners larger than 1 cm Off-centre printed edges or covers by 0.5 cm or more Misfolded dust jackets off-centre by 1 cm or more on the spine Missing foil sections or foil damage 1 cm or more The following are considered normal variations and not replaceable: Small scuffs to cover or edges Fading of sprayed edges Small white spots on sprayed edges Wavy pages Slightly loose dust jackets or jackets up to 3 mm shorter than the case Minor imperfections to foiling Ink or paint scent Sprayed-edge bleed onto fewer than 20 pages Small creases to the top or bottom of the spine Art pages cut off by less than 3 mm Slightly blurry printed edges or minor misalignment in edge design If your book has an issue not listed here, please email and I’ll assess your case individually.
